Morning.

06 February 2013

I want to be Snow White all singing with birds fluttering around in the morning.  I want to be a morning girl, but who am I kidding, birds freak me out and I’m up far too late for that.  One in the morning is my prime time.

But this isn’t about you night, it’s about morning.  Where ARE YOU snooze button?

I’d certainly be ok with a large coffee and no whining.  Tate is mad that someone touched her and she didn’t get the yogurt that she wanted.  Finn is mad because he IS a morning person and he still doesn’t get to play before school.  If we make it out of the house with lunch for Finn, a bra for me, and clothing other than pajamas for all of us it’s a good day.  Those don’t happen every day, you know.  Not even close.

Somehow, we still manage a snuggle and a ‘have a great day’ before he jumps out of the car with a wave.  I’ll call that a win.

Im with you lol...which is why Gav has been afternoon preschool so I don't have to be presentable & out of house too early! Because to be very honest its hard enough to get them moving/dressed/not crying/whining/arguing at noon let alone 8am!! My kids aren't morning people either. It will be interesting in a few years. ;)

I have to say that now since one of my girls wants to ride to bus, I actually get dressed in the morning. I have even started doing things like emptying the dishwasher. I am becoming my mom.

I love that my kids are still not in school and I don't got to work until 3:30 in the afternoon. My kids are big sleepers... I'm talking like not waking up until around 9am. I am not sure what I am going to do in August when we start kindergarden. Guess that means I am going to have to be a "real mom" that gets up a an ungodly hour and have kids dressed early. Maybe by that point I will have a dayshift job and that will become my norm, but for now, I fear for my sanity!!! :)

And I was falling asleep on the couch at 9:30 last night... :)
This post is why I was secretly happy when my son started driving himself to school.

Boo Boo always wants me to get her up "early" to do this or that....but even when I do there is never enough time in her opinion.
