Brie.

Oh stinky cheese.

HOW I love thee.

You are creamy and delicious.

My favorite way to prep brie for one?

Take a slice of baguette, spread a little apricot jam on it, a slice of brie and pop it in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.  Serve with red grapes for a yummy breakfast, or lunch, or snack, or really who needs an excuse for brie?  Deliciousness on a plate, I’m telling you!

Small word of caution, let it cool for about 5 minutes or the hot jam will scald your tongue… not that I know anything about that.  Um.

Oh, that sounds and looks so good! I made baked brie and raspberry preserves in phyllo dough last weekend. It didn't turn out so good. Probably because I substituted camembert, raspberry jam, and puff pastry. I actually threw most of it away! I'm trying it your way next time. :)

No stinky cheese or deli meat while preggo! That's what they told me...or sushi, or of course delicious wine. I know, unsolicited advice!

Sorry.

love me anyway?

Brie is wonderful. I was thinking of making a baked one with pastry dough for the super bowl.

Yum. I love brie. I love goat's milk brie. The apricot jam sounds wonderful!

yeah...you're not supposed to have that right now, are you?

Don't worry, I'm a rule breaker, too. :)

My thighs are eternally grateful that I have never liked cheese. Thank goodness! haha

Did someone say cheese, french cheese? I can hear that word from miles away through the interwebs. Thank you for writing about cheese. It is an all too often neglected issue that needs more attention.
