Beets. Bears. Battlestar Galactica.

So, I’m just going to tell you this.  I feel like I’m moderately geeky, but I can’t deal with Battlestar Galactica.

My friend Steph, just fell on the floor, I’m sure of it.

I might as well admit that I just can’t do Dr. Who either.  People try to talk me into it all the time.   Don’t think I haven’t tried.

Why would a show from ten years ago be on my mind, you rightfully ask?  Oh, because my husband has binge watched 34 episodes of it over the last two months or so.  It’s straight up craziness like Star Trek… and we all know how that turned out…

Dave Trekkie

Make that 39.

And a half.

Episodes.

He’s got it bad.

  1. Hah! I haven't ever bought into either one of those shows but I've heard really good things about Dr. Who, depending on which doctor we go with.

  2. Dude, I am a geek too... Star Trek TNG is like my favorite... and I'll watch/read/play all kinds of comic book things... but I can't with Battlestar Galactica either. I've never watched Dr. Who; I only know what a TARDIS is because I have Internet.

Also, what does this have to do with Beets and/or Bears? Is it a Battlestar Galactica thing that I don't get because I never watched it?

  3. One day my oldest daughter was sick. We binged on season one of Dr. Who. It was awesome! I like me some skinny British men.
