This Boy.

Today my baby, my little boy, starts pre-school.

We bought a Lightening backpack.

He has two boxes of tissues.

He has three bottles of glue.

And six glue sticks.

He has a 1” binder.

He has gallon sized Ziploc bags.

He is ready.

I am not.

And dear God, what are they doing with that much glue??

  1. The glue is ridiculous!. Four bottle and four glue sticks. I am pretty sure my child will come home glued to her backpack one of these days.

  3. Eating it duh!

No we go through glue like it's our job at the preschool I work at. They smear that stuff all over so we're lucky if it lasts til November. My little brother had to bring in six packs of post-it notes for the teachers this year which I thought was weird.

  5. For first grade Carah was required to bring in 24 glue sticks. OMG. She used every fucking one, too.

  6. WOW, all that for preschool? was that required? Our teachers had a wishlist and I got them a few items from it but nothing was required...six glue sticks, I can only imagine. I am room mom though so I expect they will be hitting me up for some more stuff soon!

  7. I remember a friend of mine eating glue in kindergarten, so maybe they are making up for the glue eaters. :) I am glad he had a good day!

  8. Oh my, six glue sticks? They're going to glue themselves to each other or something, I'm sure.
